Hudson’s to Help With Earthquake Relief

In a matter of seconds, your life can change forever.

That’s exactly what happened for many at 1:14 pm near Mexico City. For two hundred sixteen of those people, those seconds marked their last moment on earth.

Buildings toppled and crumbled as a magnitude 7.1 earthquake ripped through Puebla, about 100 miles south of Mexico City. Rescuers worked feverishly to dig victims out of the rubble of their home, work, and schools. As the people labored to clear debris with their bare hands and save their neighbors over the following hours and days, it became apparent just how horrific a disaster this earthquake was.

When Chef Ray Delgado heard about the devastation, he wanted to do something to help. So he and we did.

On October 22 at 4:00 pm, Hudson’s Bar & Grill will be holding an Earthquake Relief Dinner. Our vendors and our staff have joined us and are donating the food and their time so that by attending the event, 100% of what you spend on having a five-course dinner will go directly to a family of four in Puebla who lost everything they own. They’ll be using the funds to build a new home. Now, they’ll no longer have to live in a shack made of shipping pallets.

Seating is limited, so don’t delay. For more information, visit our page here.
