Catch a Flick Under the Stars!

There’s nothing better than relaxing with your loved ones under the warm night skies of summer. Lucky for us, Vancouver, Ridgefield and Camas are providing a number of opportunities this season to catch summer movies at various parks

Check out the list of movies below and pick your favorite.

By the way, are you a Star Wars junkie? How about a Seahawks fan. Both? You might want to pay attention to the special showing of The Force Awakens on July 15th. Read below for more details…


Vancouver Movies in the Park

Pre-movie activities begin at 7pm, movies start at dusk.

July 8th: “Inside Out”, John Ball Park, Vancouver, WA 98660

July 15th: “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Marshall Park *(Seattle Seahawks 12 Tour will be in attendance)

July 22nd: “Tomorrowland” Fruit Valley Park

July 29th: “Jurassic World” Parade Grounds at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site

Aug. 5th “The Princess Bride” Waterworks Park

Aug. 12th: “Goosebumps” Vancouver Landing on the Columbia River

 

Columbia Tech Center Movies in the Park

Located at 17701 SE Mill Plain Blvd. Premovie activities begin at 7pm and the movies begin at dusk.

July 8th: “Raiders of the Lost Ark”

July 15th: “Pan”

July 22nd: “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”

July 29th: “Inside Out”

 

Ridgefield Movies in the Park

Located at Davis Park. Opens at 7:30pm. Movies begin at dusk with popcorn and refreshments available.

July 26th: “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”

Aug. 9th: “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”

Aug. 30th: “Lilo & Stitch”

 

Camas Movies in the Park

Located at Crown Park. Premovie entertainment and activities begin an hour before the movie starts. Refreshments are available for purchase.

Aug. 5th 8:45pm: “The Neverending Story”

Aug. 12th 8:30pm: “Wreck-It Ralph”

Aug. 19th 8:30pm: “Inside Out”

Aug. 26th 8:15pm: “Minions”


*Seattle Seahawks 12 Tour!

The Seattle Seahawks 12 Tour will be making a special appearace at the July 15th showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

“From mid-June to late July, Seahawks players, Blitz, members of the Sea Gals and Blue Thunder will be hitting the road to visit 12s throughout the northwest.”

“The 12 Tour will make stops in Leavenworth, Moses Lake, Spokane, Cheney, Ellensburg, Centralia/Chehalis, Vancouver, WA, Portland and Tacoma to visit local businesses, greet fans and in some cases participate in a 12 flag raising ceremony.”

“Follow the Seahawks and offer your suggestions for “can’t miss” stops along the way using the hashtag #12Tour.”

Want to head over to Portland, Oregon? Portland also has various opportunities to catch a great flick at sunset.

Located at Pioneer Courthouse Square in Downtown Portland. Activities start at 7pm, movies begin at dusk.
